Teen Driving , New Rules !!

.
Early Tuesday morning, 12:01 am to be exact; there will be new rules going out to teen drivers in the state of Pennsylvania. The rules state that drivers of the ages 16 and 17 years-old would be required to have more training for there driving skills. Teens 18 and under with permits would need 65 hours of training. It’s also stated that 10 of those hours should be teachings about driving at night. 5 of those hours should be teachings about driving in horrible weather. Drivers under 18 also aren't allowed to have a certain number of other teens that aren't family as passengers with out a parent/guardian present. That rule only applies for the first 6 months of having a junior license. Everyone in the car in required to wear a seat belt and if a teen driver or any of the passengers isn't buckled in then it's an automatic pull over by the police. But the rules for older teens that are 18 and older are harsher. If an 18 year old doesn't wear his or her seat belt they would be charged as an offense and if they get pulled over they would be charged with a fine. 18 year olds can have up to three passengers in the car only if they don't have any crashing or get pulled over by the cops.

Well my opinion on this is that they shouldn't make the driving laws for teens as harsh. I believe that because some drivers more experienced than teens are worse with obeying the rules of the rode than teens. Also 65 hours of training is way too much time for a teenager, we already have to deal with our school education but to add more stress to our brains isn't necessary. I agree with the punishment for not wearing seat belts. I agree with it because wearing a seat belt is important and they are just concerned about your safety.

Plan B, Teen Pregancy, & Obama

Teen pregnancy has been rising more and more for the past years. Many teens have found the easy way out of pregnancy and easy ways to prevent them from getting HIV or STDs. One way is to be on birth control. One pill used the most is Plan B One-Step. Plan B One-Step is a back up plan for when you have unprotected sex. It's also known as one of the many kinds of birth control, but it isn't any normal kind. Plan B doesn't have to be taken daily and has a high amount of the ingredient levonorgestrel which prevents the release of an egg from the ovary. It has to be taken at least 72 hours after unprotected sex in order to work properly. Taking Plan B also has some side effects to it. The pill could cause normal factors such as nausea, headaches, dizziness, and others things.

But as you've already know over the past few years the law requires that Plan B could be sold over the counter , but only to women ages 18 and older and women 17 and under has to be prescribed by a doctor. Things have changed. Right now there are many arguments regarding Obama's decision to allowing Plan B to be sold over the counter to women 17 years and younger. Many claim it's dangerous others agree it's a good idea to prevent teen pregnancy. Most believe Obama is only doing it to please everyone for the next election coming up.

Snow Reports For : December 8, 2011 Before

Winters only a few weeks away and it’s reported that on this upcoming Thursday, December 8 2011 snow should be arriving in the Philadelphia County area early that morning. The National Weather Service stated that the snow should also be landing in parts of the Suburbs, Lehigh Valley, and the Poconos with high elevations from three to six inches. This upcoming snow is also to be known as annoying, bringing us snow from different places in the United States such as Washington, D.C., Baltimore, New York and Boston. The time that the snow should be arriving and the amount that it is predicted to be coming may cause delays, and closings of different schools. During the snow storm the temperature may be very cold almost freezing so bundle up, but gratefully it would go up to the 40s and sunny that Thursday afternoon. Before the storm comes, Philadelphia would get one or two inches of rain Wednesday afternoon continuing all night and wet snowflakes as well. The city fears that all this water would cause terrible floods. They also fear the reported heavy winds that predicted to come with this storm, could possibly cause power outages or worse. Many believe weather reports to sometimes be very tricky or wrong. This storm may be surprising to people but it isn’t to me. We all should get prepared for this storm as soon as possible just to be safe. Reports will give a brief update on this storm on Wednesday, December 8 2011. -PHILLY.COM

Facebook Agrees to Privacy Settlement: Fact & Opinion

Facebook has been accused of a not fair and misleading business for changing privacy settings without informing the websites users. So on this upcoming Tuesday the Government demanded that the Facebook Company has to make an agreement with users before making any privacy setting changes. Also Facebook has to examine themselves on people's privacy for 20 years. The Federal Trade Commission stated that Facebook changed its privacy settings back in December of 2009.They made user’s public information private without a heads up or asking permission. Also if a user clicked on an advertisement it would allow the advertiser to have access to that person’s information and that resulted to letting another person view anything that the user said only friends can view. That incident was found to happen 8 times, but if it ever happens in the future Facebook would be charged with $16,000 everyday for each violation. Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's founder admitted to the many mistakes made and stated those mistakes have been fixed.

Well I agree with the fact that Facebook should inform users before privacy settings for the website. I agree because having users get used to unexpected changes would get them irritated and mad.
Also the privacy changes make horrible changes like for example, advertisers can see all the users information when the click on the advertisement. If users have certain things private on there profile it's for a reason. The privacy change doesn’t help users get protected! I believe Facebook should just leave the privacy settings alone and keep them how they were.-nytimes.com
